Reva at Merci Beaucoup Cakes meets with a couple who are self-professed comic book geeks and dream of an engagement cake that encompasses their passion for super heroes. There’s no need to fear here – Marc and Reva know just what to do. Lauri at Cake Alchemy is confronted with the challenge of her first topsy-turvy wedding cake. The couple is very specific in their desires — a cake that is both elegant and topsy-turvey, complete with a monogram and Lauri’s famous sugar balls. Christopher Garren’s Cakes receives a request from a couple for an aquatic-themed engagement cake — specifically a coral reef with sea creatures. Yet Chris and his team, not quite satisfied with the challenge, add to it even further with sculpted figures of the engaged couple and a treasure chest suspended rather precariously over the cake. What could go wrong?
