At Christopher Garren’s Cakes in Orange County, CA, Chris gets an order for a rose panel wedding cake incorporating the couple’s red, black and white color scheme. Chris pushes his staff to create an epic pastry that weighs over two hundred and fifty pounds! When Lauri from NYC’s Cake Alchemy receives an order for a terra cotta wedding cake, she’s delighted at the chance to create something different than the traditional plain white cake for which so many brides opt. That is, until the bride calls and changes her mind back to the plain white cake. Lauri has no choice but to grin and bear it, re-roll the fondant and deliver the cake her customer wants.
